After Pregnancy - Caring for You After Pregnancy

After your new baby arrives, you will have questions, especially if you are a first-time mom. You may find yourself wishing that the baby had come with an instruction manual. Helping you after childbirth is just as important to us at Evergreen Women's Care as helping you get through your pregnancy and delivery. Our after-pregnancy care includes:

• Breast-feeding education and support
• Postpartum checkups for you and your baby
• Emotional support and screening for postpartum depression
• Comprehensive birth control options

At Evergreen Women's Care, we are all about helping and supporting you through every stage of life. We help teens avoid pregnancy through education and today's safest and most advanced birth control options. We help women through pregnancy and well beyond into menopause and other aging issues. Most importantly, we at Evergreen focus our attention and services on keeping you ever-healthy.

 More Childbirth Choices for You

It's your baby, your body and your choice when it comes to methods and options for childbirth. At Evergreen Women's Care, we want you to be as comfortable as possible with whatever option you prefer.

We offer traditional childbirth, along with low-intervention and natural childbirth options. We offer you a choice over whether you want to have an epidural or not, pain medication or not. We even give patients a choice of pushing positions (upright, supine, etc.). We do not do routine episiotomy, either. We also believe that is your choice. And we are extremely supportive of any and all of the choices you make in your childbirth plans.

Pregnancy Care Kirkland, WA

Pregnancy Care

Experienced, specialized care

We offer comprehensive obstetric care, including pre- and postnatal care, delivery and family planning. But we also specialize in high-risk pregnancies, multiple births and natural childbirth. Our advanced-trained obstetrician/gynecologist, Jonathan C. Cook, MD, provides experienced, specialized care for prenatal evaluation and follow-up postnatal care.

He will talk with you about your pregnancy and perform any necessary tests or procedures.
Dr. Cook urges his patients to attend our childbirth and health education classes. In fact, all of us at Evergreen Women’s Care welcome any questions you might have concerning prenatal, postnatal and general health questions. We want to be your community health resource, and we want our patients to be well-informed and able to obtain information and support they need in all aspects of their obstetric health choices.

Dr. Cook and his staff offer the following services (if you don’t see it listed here, ask!):
